The magazine carried photos on revolutionary activities of General Secretary Kim Jong Il and several articles.

The magazine in an article titled "61 years covered by the DPRK" noted that President Kim Il Sung led the 20 year-long arduous anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle to victory, liberating the country, and founded the DPRK, the glorious motherland, on September 9, 1948.

The Korean people have waged a dynamic struggle to open the gate to a thriving nation in 2012, the centenary of birth of the President, true to the plan put forth by Kim Jong Il, added the article.

The magazine in an article titled "Nuclear test is a reply to the hostile provocations" stressed that the second nuclear test conducted by the DPRK to bolster up the deterrent for self-defense was a proper reply to the provocative act perpetrated by the U.S. and other hostile forces by bringing its satellite launch for discussion at the U.N.

The magazine also carried an article introducing the Korean people all out in the drive for building a great prosperous and powerful nation and an article dealing with the barbaric atrocities committed by the U.S. imperialists during the past Korean war.
