The 60-odd-year history of the DPRK is a proud one of victory and glory in which it made a new history of gigantic changes and epoch-making miracles under the leadership of the peerlessly great persons and a sacred course in which it demonstrated the might and invincibility of socialism of Juche to the whole world, weathering out the grim tempest of the anti-imperialist struggle, the message noted.

President Kim Il Sung's cause of building a rich and powerful country is now in full bloom thanks to you, the great man born of Mt. Paektu, the message said, and went on:

The north, which has demonstrated its might as a political and ideological power in which the leader and the army and the people have formed a harmonious whole and a nuclear weapons state which no aggressor dares provoke, is inching close to the eminence of an economic power full of confidence. This is the brilliant fruition of the wise leadership provided by you who kindled the torch of a new great revolutionary surge.

You are the outstanding leader steering the building of a thriving nation of Juche and the cause of national reunification to victory, shouldering the destiny of the country and the nation upon yourself. The DPRK shedding its rays thanks to Songun is, indeed, the genuine motherland firmly guaranteeing the eternal happiness and prosperity of all the fellow countrymen and a beacon of hope for us people.

We the AINDF will thoroughly adhere to and implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration under the uplifted banner of "By our nation itself" and work hard to pave a wide avenue for independent reunification, peace and prosperity.
