Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- The Jordanian preparatory committee and the Icelandic preparatory committee were separately formed on Sept. 3 and 4 to commemorate the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung.
Marwan Sudah, chairman of the Arab Committee for Solidarity with Korean People and Supporting the Reunification of Korea in Jordan, and Jon Arni Halldorsson, general secretary of the Iceland-DPRK Friendship and Cultural Society, were elected chairmen of the preparatory committees respectively.
The committees decided to widely introduce the immortal idea and exploits of the President and conduct a dynamic movement for solidarity with the Korean people till 2012.
