The chairman of the Switzerland-DPRK Committee referred to the fact that President Kim Il Sung achieved the historical cause of liberating the country, putting an end to the Japanese imperialist colonial rule and set up a genuine country of the people on the land of Korea.

The DPRK is now shedding its rays as the fortress of socialism, he said, adding that this was ascribable to the wise guidance of the President and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

The DPRK will remain Kim Il Sung's Korea and Kim Jong Il's Korea in the future, too, and the Korean people will certainly achieve the cause of national reunification under the banner of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration in the near future, he noted.

He said that the committee would join the world progressive people in conducting brisker activities supporting the Korean people in their just cause.

The secretary-general of the Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association said the DPRK is a genuine socialist state centered on the popular masses as it has fully embodied the great Juche idea fathered by the President in all fabrics of social life.

He expressed belief that the heroic Korean people would certainly build a great prosperous and powerful nation and achieve the cause of national reunification under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.

Messages of greetings to Kim Jong Il were adopted at the meetings in Switzerland and Bulgaria.
