Having firmly believed that the revolution would emerge victorious only when they trusted in and followed the President from the first days when she started revolutionary activities in her early years, she remained faithful to his idea and line throughout her life.

Om, a renegade to the revolution, slandered the revolutionary idea and line of the President at the Qingfeng Secret Camp in a year of the second half of the 1930s during the anti-Japanese armed struggle. Then Kim Jong Suk resolutely fought with him, saying to the following effect: We are soldiers of General Kim Il Sung. Who are you? You are an enemy of the revolution.

Later at a meeting exposing and condemning Om's crimes, she emphasized: Let us defend the revolutionary idea of Comrade Commander with our lives! This is our loftiest and honorable duty.

Under the complicated situation after the liberation of the country, too, she thoroughly defended the revolutionary idea and line of the President as she did in the days of the anti-Japanese war.

In the early period for national building, she told anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters that they should frustrate the moves of the renegades to the revolution and factionalists and thoroughly implement the President's line on building a party, state and army as they did during fighting in mountains in the past, personally showing a living example for them.

Upon hearing the news that a lecture for masses on the establishment of the people's government which was held at the auditorium of Pyongyang Girls' Secondary School No. 4 (at that time) on a February day of Juche 35 (1946) was called off by moves of reactionaries, she lost no time to go there and gave a lecture.

Her reasonable and enthusiastic lecture touched heartstrings of the audience so strongly that they chanted "Long live General Kim Il Sung!", "Let's become nation-building fighters consolidating a democratic foundation, upholding the line of General Kim Il Sung!" and other slogans.

Indeed, she was a great revolutionary who was possessed of the revolutionary outlook on the leader and the spirit of defending the leader with her life on the highest phase.

Today the spirit of guarding the revolutionary headquarters at the risk of lives shown by
Kim Jong Suk is being thoroughly carried forward as a valuable tradition of the Korean revolution.

The Korean people will defend socialism firmly and build a great, prosperous and powerful nation, holding aloft the Songun idea and leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
