Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) -- The Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly and the International Affairs Department of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea sent wreaths to the Cuban embassy here on Wednesday to mourn the death of Major of the Revolution Juan Almeida Bosque, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and vice-president of the Council of State of Cuba.
Wreaths were also sent there by the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Trade, the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and the Korean Committee for Solidarity with Cuba.
Those were placed before a portrait of the deceased.
Present there were Yang Hyong Sop, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Ri Ryong Nam, minister of Foreign Trade, Minister of Education Kim Yong Jin, chairman of the Korean Committee for Solidarity with Cuba, Mun Jae Chol, acting chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, Kim Thae Jong, vice department director of the C.C., WPK, Pak Jae Gyong, vice-minister of the People's Armed Forces, and Kim Hyong Jun, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs.
After laying wreaths, the participants paid silent tribute to him and made entries in the mourners' book.
