Pyongyang, September 17 (KCNA) -- Remembrance stage "Mother Is Always with Red Flag" was given by workers and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) at the Central Hall of Workers on Thursday to remember Kim Jong Suk, anti-Japanese heroine, on the 60th anniversary of her demise. Kim Pyong Phal, chairman of the Central Committee of the GFTUK who mounted the stage, said that short as the life of Kim Jong Suk was, her noble revolutionary spirit, lofty personality and immortal exploits serve as the everlasting example of life and struggle of workers and members of the GFTU of the DPRK. Ri Yong Suk, anti-Japanese revolutionary fighter who mounted the stage, recollected that Kim Jong Suk provided noble tradition of devotedly defending the leader and gave birth to General Secretary Kim Jong Il in the days of hard-fought anti-Japanese struggle, thus guaranteeing the brilliant future of Korea. Min Sun who had connection with her revolutionary activities talked about the revolutionary moral obligation of Kim Jong Suk who looked after with warm loving care the bereaved children of revolutionary martyrs, holding them in her broad embrace and always shared weal and woe with people with peculiar simplicity and assiduity. Kim Il Nam, chairman of the primary organization of the GFTUK of the Kangnam Ceramic Factory, Kim Yong Ok, worker of the Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Silk Mill, and Ri Kun Sok, vice-chairman of the primary organization of the GFTUK of the Pyongyang Cornstarch Factory, stressed that Put on the stage were such items as male solo and female pangchang "My Mother", a famous classic masterpiece, and male quartet "Mother Is Always with Red Flag" which praise Kim Jong Suk. |
