Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- A remembrance meeting of members of the Democratic Women's Union of Korea "The great mother Kim Jong Suk of Songun Korea" took place at the Central Hall of Workers Friday on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of demise of anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk.
The floor was taken by Ri Tong Hui, vice-chairperson of the Central Committee of the union, Kim Ok Sun, an anti-Japanese revolutionary fighter, Kim Pok Sin, honorary councilor of the Cabinet, Ju Sun Ok, rector of Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School, Ri Hyon Ju, director of Kim Jong Suk Nursery, and others.
Speakers said that Kim Jong Suk's life was not only a life characterized by loyalty to President
Kim Il Sung but one of dedication to the country and its people.
They looked back with deep emotion on the facts that Kim Jong Suk devotedly defended the headquarters of the revolution at the risk of her life like a citadel and shield, her noble revolutionary comradeship, boundlessly warm humanity and the undying exploits performed by her with arms to shine in the Songun revolutionary history of Juche.
They stressed that the Korean people are immensely proud of being blessed with the illustrious leaders generation after generation thanks to the feats Kim Jong Suk performed by giving birth to the loadstar of Juche in the tempest of the revolution.
