Documentary Film Shown
Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- Documentary film "Comrade Kim Jong Suk, the Great Communist Revolutionary Fighter and Woman Commander of Mt. Paektu" (2) was screened at the People's Palace of Culture on Saturday on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of her death.

It was watched by senior party and state officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, leading officials of ministries and national institutions and provincial, city and county party committees.

The film shows historic scenes dealing with the great feats performed by Kim Jong Suk, an anti-Japanese heroine, for the party and the revolution, the country and its people, true to President
Kim Il Sung's line of building the party, the state and the army and the immortal revolutionary exploits she performed by giving steady continuity to the revolutionary cause of Juche.

The film tells about facts on the indefatigable activities she conducted after her triumphant return home to firmly protect the personal safety of the President and uphold and defend his ideas and line under difficult and complicated situation after the country's liberation.

It deals with the years of her dynamic leadership in which she energetically aroused the people to the building of a new country and worked heart and soul to train the People's Army to be the army of the leader and the party and develop it into an invincible army.

The film shows the revolutionary history of Kim Jong Suk woven with the boundless love for the country and the people and warm comradeship and the brilliant reality of the country in which her noble desire has come true under the leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
