Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- The 58th plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) was held in Thaechon County, North Phyongan Province, on Thursday.
Present at the plenary meeting were members of the Central Committee of the UAWK and officials of the union in Pyongyang and local areas.
The plenary meeting discussed the tasks facing the UAWK organizations to dynamically conduct the 100-day campaign in the same spirit as displayed during the 150-day campaign for bringing about a radical turn in the drive to build a thriving nation.
A report of Kang Chang Uk, chairman of the C.C., the UAWK, was followed by speeches.
The reporter and speakers proposed the tasks facing the UAWK organizations to fully enlist the mental power of the agricultural workers through the high-pitched 100-day campaign and wage the drive for successfully concluding the farming for this year and ways to do so.
