Present there were Premier Kim Yong Il, Vice-Premiers Ro Tu Chol and O Su Yong, Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea Pak Nam Gi, leading officials of ministries, national institutions and working people's organizations and officials in the field of labor administration.

The participants heard the recorded speech "Let Us Implement the Socialist Labor Law Thoroughly” made by the President at the national conference of labor administration officials.

Clarified in the work published on Sept. 27, Juche 68 (1979) are the need for the labor administration officials to do political work, work with people well, the matters of encouraging all the working people to have love for work and work as required by the socialist labor regulations, abiding by the principle of socialist distribution, strictly enforcing the socialist system of paying for the work done and thoroughly implementing the mass line in the labor administration and other issues.

O Su Yong said in his report that the work is a great programme for the socialist labor administration run through with the Juche-oriented principle and methods and serves as guidelines to be held fast to in improving and strengthening labor administration in the whole period of socialist construction.

Referring to the fact that the President and General Secretary Kim Jong Il have wisely led the labor administration to serve the purpose of fully meeting the independent requirements and interests of the working masses, the reporter stressed that under the wise leadership of the party and the leader the originality and validity of the idea and theory of the socialist labor administration have been clearly proved and their vitalities fully displayed and great progress has been made in the labor administration.

He called for bringing about a fresh turn in the socialist labor administration, true to the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il to make a positive contribution to building a thriving nation.
