Present there on invitation were delegations and delegates of various countries on visits to the DPRK to participate in the celebrations of the birthday of the bank, staff members of the foreign embassies here and other foreigners staying in the DPRK.

Vice-Premier O Su Yong said in his speech that the bank was founded by President Kim Il Sung and has developed into an able one which plays an important role in the development of national economy and wages brisk financial activities for foreign trade under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.

He expressed belief that the bank would boost cooperation and business transaction with banks of foreign countries and thus make steady progress in foreign financial dealings.
