A donation ceremony took place on the spot on Friday.

Present at the ceremony were Kim Ji Sok, vice-minister of Food Procurement and Administration, Chae Song Hak, vice-chairman of the Rason City People's Committee, and other officials concerned. On hand were Valery Sukhinin, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, Byacheslav Chupikov, Russian consul-general in Chongjin, and officials of the Ministry of Extraordinary Situation of Russia staying in the DPRK.
