Pyongyang, September 25 (KCNA) -- The 7th National Ssirum (Korean wrestling) Tournament for Grand Bull Prize was held from September 23 to 25 on Rungna Islet in Pyongyang amid the great interest of working people and sports fans.
The tournament, which brought together more than 100 fine grapplers selected from Pyongyang and each province, took place, divided into catch-weight and body-weight category events.
Wrestler Ri Jo Won from North Phyongan Province came first at the catch-weight event in which 20 grapplers competed on the group league match and knockout basis and thus was awarded the grand bull weighing nearly one ton, a gold bell and diploma.
In the body-weight event, the North Phyongan Provincial team came first, the Pyongyang City team second and the South Hamgyong Provincial team third in team totals.
