An inaugural concert took place at the Yun I Sang Concert Hall on Monday.

Appreciating the concert were Kang Nung Su, minister of Culture, officials concerned, creators and artistes of the national art organizations, teachers and students in the field of art education.

Among the audience were the daughter of Yun and staff members of the German embassy here.

Before the start of the concert Han Chol, vice-minister of Culture, made an address.

Taking part in the concert were musicians of the orchestra of the Yun I Sang Music Institute and other national art organizations and the orchestra of Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun Conservatory.

It begun with female solo "Fog Creeps up Jong Il Peak." Put on the stage were Korean lyric songs composed by Yun the early period of his activities "A Letter", "Coloides Conores" for a string ensemble and small orchestra "Konzertante Figueren."

The concert will last till Sept. 30.
