An album releasing ceremony took place in Beijing on Sept. 28.

Attending it were Li Jinhua, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chen Haosu, president of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Wu Donghe, chairman of the China-Korea Friendship Association, Hu Zhengyue, assistant to the foreign minister of China, and officials concerned.

Present there on invitation were Choe Jin Su, DPRK ambassador to China, and staff members of his embassy, the delegation of the Foreign Languages Publishing House on a visit to China and DPRK students studying in Beijing.

Gao Shumao, president of the press, and Choe Kyong Guk, head of the delegation, made speeches at the ceremony.

They noted that the album records the 60-year long history of the DPRK-China friendship which was personally provided by the leaders of the elder generation and is growing stronger under the care of the top leaders of the two countries.

Saying that the release of the commemorative album offered an opportunity to know better about the deep historical roots of the DPRK-China friendship, they stressed that they would pool will and efforts of the peoples of the two countries and make the strong friendship between the two countries shine forever.
