Pyongyang, September 30 (KCNA) -- Order of the DPRK Friendship First Class was awarded to Naguib Sawiris, chairman and CEO of the Orascom Telecom Holding of Egypt, in recognition of the positive contributions he has made to developing the relations of friendship and economic cooperation between the DPRK and Egypt with his boundless respect and reverence for General Secretary
Kim Jong Il.
An order-awarding ceremony was held at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Wednesday.
Present there were Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Ryu Yong Sop, minister of Post and Telecommunications, and officials concerned.
The chairman and CEO of the Orascom Telecom Holding of Egypt and his party were on hand.
