Homage Paid to Kim Il Sung

Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Senior party and state officials, commanding officers of the Korean People's Army, the chairperson of a friendly party, leading officials of the party, armed forces, power organs, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions visited the Kumsusan Memorial Palace on Saturday on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Laid before the statue of the President was a floral basket in the joint name of the WPK Central Committee, the Central Military Commission of the WPK, the DPRK National Defence Commission, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the DPRK Cabinet.

Written on the ribbon of the floral basket were letters "The Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung Will Be Immortal".

Senior party and state officials and commanding officers of the KPA paid high tribute to the statue of Kim Il Sung.

On the same day, anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters, servicepersons and people from all walks of life visited the Kumsusan Memorial Palace.
