Acrobatic Performance Given to Celebrate WPK Birthday

Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang Circus gave its joint performance at the Pyongyang Circus Theater on Saturday to celebrate the 64th birthday of the Workers' Party of Korea. Among the spectators were senior party, army and state officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of party, armed forces and power organs, public organizations, ministries and national institutions, servicepersons of the Korean People's Army, working people in the city, overseas compatriots and the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front. Put on the stage were physical acrobatics "Balancing stunt," comedic circus "Two fellers," jugglery "Girls shown in a mirror", animal circus "Bears' rope jumping" and other colorful numbers. The performers showcased peculiar skill and refined acrobatic movements with ardent reverence for President Kim Il Sung, the pioneer of the cause of building the revolutionary party of Juche, and General Secretary Kim Jong Il who has developed the WPK to be the eternal party of the President and a powerful guiding force for the Songun revolution. They also successfully represented the heroic stamina of the working people of the DPRK performing miracles and feats while intensifying the drive for effecting a new great revolutionary surge. |
