Plaza of the Tower of the Juche Idea and other venues of dancing parties in Pyongyang, various provinces, cities and county seats were crowded with youth and students excited to significantly celebrate the birthday of the WPK.

The dancing parties started with the playing of song "Long Live Generalissimo Kim Il Sung". Their participants danced with ardent longing and profound reverence for President Kim Il Sung who founded the revolutionary party of Juche type and led it along the road of victory, bringing about a radical turn in carving out the destiny of the country and the people of the DPRK.

The youth and students presented dances representing the honor and happiness of having General Secretary Kim Jong Il at the helm of the revolution and the revolutionary stamina and optimism of the young Songun vanguard glorifying the era.

Artistes of the Mansudae Art Troupe and the State Symphony Orchestra and other art troupes in the capital city put on the stage baritone solo "Our leader", piano concerto "Cantata to Comrade
Kim Jong Il" and other colorful numbers.

Music and dance performances were given by provincial art troupes in Hamhung, Chongjin and other areas. Sinuiju, Sariwon and Wonsan witnessed art performances and grand choruses given by working people, members of the women's union and youth and students.
