Doctor of Literature Conferred on Korean Teacher in China

| Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- DPRK doctorate of literature was awarded to Ri Chung Sil, a Korean teacher of Yanbian University of China, with due ceremony at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Tuesday. Ri made a contribution to enriching the history of Korean literature in the middle ages by comprehensively studying, analyzing and systematizing patriotic and progressive poems widely created in Korea from the 17th to 19th centuries. |
