Among the audience were senior party, army and state officials, the chairpersons of friendly parties, officials of party and armed forces organs, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, creators, artistes, teachers and students in the field of literature and art and working people in the city.

Put on the stage were mixed chorus "Under the Banner of the Party", chamber concert of the Unhasu Orchestra "Young People, Be Loyal to Our Party", masterpiece "Greeting the Sun Rising over the Taedong River", music presented by the Samjiyon Band, and other colorful numbers.

The performers sang high praises of the feats performed by President Kim Il Sung, the founder and builder of the WPK, and General Secretary Kim Jong Il who has developed it into the eternal party of Kim Il Sung and a guiding force for the Songun revolution.
