Proposal for Founding DFRK Supported by British Associations

Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) -- The British branch of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy issued a joint statement on October 3 on the occasions of the 29th anniversary of the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo and the second anniversary of the publication of the October 4 declaration.

The statement said that the proposal for founding the DFRK advanced by President Kim Il Sung at the 6th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea is the most realistic and fair and aboveboard proposal for terminating the division of Korea.

It went on:

The proposal for founding the DFRK is being successfully materialized thanks to the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration in which the idea of "By our nation itself" is embodied.

On the above-said occasions the statement demanded the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces pull out of south Korea at once and the south Korean authorities pull down the hateful barrier dividing Korea into the north and the south and accept the proposal for federation.
