Atanas Ivanov, honorary chairman of the Bulgarian Communists Union, said in his speech made at a meeting that the President formed the DIU on October 17, 1926, providing the historic roots of the WPK and founding the WPK on October 10, 1945.

A member of the Central Executive Committee of the Pakistan People's Party, who is secretary for Information of the Punjab Provincial Committee of the party, noted at a seminar that the WPK has demonstrated its invincible might thanks to the outstanding and tested leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

He wished the Korean people greater success in the building of a thriving nation under the leadership of the WPK.
