Displayed in the venue of the ceremony were photos of President Kim Il Sung meeting with Seyed Ali Khamenei, leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, on a visit to the DPRK, works of the peerlessly great persons and books and photos introducing the true appearance of Songun Korea.

Attending it were political and public figures and other people of Iran.

Present there on invitation were the DPRK ambassador to Iran, his embassy officials and members of the goodwill delegation of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries.

The general director for Art and Cultural Cooperation of the Organization of Culture and Islamic Relations of Iran said at the opening ceremony that the meeting of Seyed Ali Khamenei and Kim Il Sung marked a historic event of epochal significance in the development of the friendly relations between Iran and the DPRK, expressing hope that the joint struggle of the peoples of the two countries for friendship, peace and justice would gain in scope and strength in the future.

The participants watched Korean film "DPRK Visit Paid by HE Seyed Ali Khamenei, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran".
