Considering that the communist parties of Latin American countries should positively support and sincerely help the Korean people in their efforts to implement the said proposal and the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration, the statement said:

We recognize that the proposal for founding the DFRK advanced by President Kim Il Sung indicates the only just way of achieving Korean reunification common to the nation as it helps the Korean people achieve the reunification of their country peacefully in their common interests irrespective of the differing ideology and system in the north and the south.

The October 4 declaration provided thanks to the noble patriotic intention and steadfast will for reunification of General Secretary Kim Jong Il, lodestar of Korea's reunification, serves as an action programme for implementing the June 15 joint declaration which calls for settling the inter-Korean relations and the issue of reunification, guided by the idea of "By our nation itself" and as a banner for independent reunification.

The communist parties of Latin American countries supporting the reunification of Korea express full support and solidarity with the Korean people in their struggle to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country under the banner of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration according to the proposal for founding the DFRK.
