Unspeakable are the sufferings and misfortune the Koreans are undergoing due to the territorial partition and the national split, the article notes, and goes on:

If the country is not reunified in the present generation, the younger generation will suffer the tragedy of national division and the distrust and confrontation between the north and the south will fester, creating the danger of the nation remaining split into two indefinitely.

Only when the country is reunified is it possible to build a rich and powerful, independent and sovereign state on this land and see a paradise for people, a thriving nation to be envied by the world, appear there.

It is a natural trend and a law-governed requirement for the development of the national history for the Korean nation to become one as it used to be in the past.

Reunification precisely means patriotism and division treachery. It is the only way out to achieve the reunification of the country. If Korea is reunified the country is sure to proudly emerge a rich and powerful, independent and sovereign state in the world arena and the Korean nation will demonstrate its might as a resourceful and dignified great nation.
