Sa Ok Jin bagged three gold medals by placing first in the women's individual demonstration show, d class pattern and 75 kg category sparring matches and An Yun Mi carried off two gold medals in the women's individual b class pattern and 63 kg category sparring matches while Ri Chol Ok won two gold medals in the women's individual a class pattern and 75 kg and above category sparring matches.

Jegal Un took a gold medal and a silver medal, Pak Chung Song a gold medal and a bronze medal, Kim Il Gyong, Han Song Min, Ri Hang Song, Kim Un Hyok, Pak Yong Bom, Kim Yong Ok and Kim Pom Mi picked up gold medals each while Chae Tok Song and Ri Hyang bagged bronze medals.

DPRK players also came first in the men and women's team pattern competition and women's team sparring matches and placed second in the women's team exhibition of special technique.
