The bulletin carried a photograph of President Kim Il Sung standing together with General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

The bulletin noted in an article that the President formed the DIU on October 17, 1926, liberated Korea on August 15, 1945 and founded the WPK on October 10, 1945.

It elaborated on the fact that under the leadership of the WPK, all democratic reforms were successfully carried out in Korea after its liberation and the DPRK won a brilliant victory in the Fatherland Liberation War and completed the socialist industrialization in a short span of time.

The WPK thoroughly applied the Juche idea, founded by the President, in all realms of social life, it noted.

Noting that Kim Jong Il started his work at the WPK Central Committee in 1964 and has turned the DPRK into a powerful socialist fortress by wisely leading the party and revolution and socialist construction, the bulletin said: He is wisely leading the struggle to realize the independent and peaceful reunification of the country, true to Kim Il Sung's last instructions for national reunification.
