The statement said that the Korean people are lucky as they have the great leader.

Noting that Kim Jong Il's political idea is to believe in people as in Heaven, it said that he made the people's power and all other organs of the state and society serve the people and officials share their lot with the people, freeing themselves from abuse of power and bureaucratism.

Praising him as the great person finding his pleasure in people's happiness, the statement said:

His personality as the paramount leader of people can be found in the fact that he set the slogan "We serve the people!" as that to be held high by the WPK and the people's power bodies.

The Korean people are dynamically advancing along the road of socialism chosen by themselves without any vacillation and vicissitude under the leadership of the WPK rallied as one around their leader despite the difficult and unfavorable situation in every aspect.
