On display in the exhibition hall were at least 4,600 kinds of Korean stamps, including commemorative stamp "Year of DPRK-China friendship" (two kinds of sheetlets), which deal with the history of the DPRK-China friendship which President Kim Il Sung provided and cultivated together with revolutionaries of the elder generation of China and General Secretary Kim Jong Il has steadily consolidated and developed together with leaders of the new generation.

Present at an opening ceremony of the exhibition were Chinese officials concerned, philatelists and the delegation of the Korean Stamp Exhibition.

Speeches were made there.

Meanwhile, a seminar on DPRK stamps took place in Beijing.
