The statement noted that after its formation, the solidarity has waged the vigorous struggle to implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration on the basis of the spirit of "By our nation itself".

It recalled that the organization waged the anti-U.S. movement in diverse forms and ways and especially made a great contribution to popularizing the struggle for pullout of the U.S. forces from south Korea.

The organization has also dynamically conducted the struggle for democratization in solidarity with the people, the statement said, contending that no force can reverse this proud history of the organization.

The solidarity will as ever vigorously turn out in the struggle for the implementation of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration to make practical contribution to the realization of national reunification, the desire of all Koreans, the statement stressed.
