U.S. Design to Stifle DPRK by Force Flayed

Pyongyang, October 27 (KCNA) -- The United States is speeding up the production of "bunker-buster" and its deployment for action on a full scale in a bid to use it for attacking underground military objects and nuclear facilities of the DPRK, says Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in a signed commentary.

The commentary goes on to say:

The U.S. has not yet abandoned its design to stifle the DPRK by force but is seeking to disarm the DPRK through the camouflaged peace. Meanwhile, it is additionally deploying modern offensive means in south Korea and its surrounding area in a scenario to stifle the DPRK by means of preemptive nuclear attack.

It is under this scenario that the U.S. bellicose forces have recently staged mad-cap joint military exercises with south Korea on the west sea of the Korean Peninsula.

The U.S. imperialists, accustomed to aggression and war, are seeking only the military confrontation and provocation of a new war on the Korean Peninsula. However, the U.S. is making a strategic mistake as it puts too much confidence in its strength.

It is ridiculous and futile for the U.S. to frighten the army and the people of the DPRK with "superiority" of military technical means such as super-large bomb and nuclear-powered carrier.

The tragedy for the U.S. is its failure to have understanding of the DPRK's strength and mental power.
