It brought together circuses and acrobats from 22 countries and regions including the DPRK, China, Russia and Canada. 32 pieces entered into a competition for three golden lion prize cups.

Han Un Chol, Kim Myong Jin, Pak Mi Gyong and other acrobats of Pyongyang Circus in their "Flying on the Twin Swing" successfully flew in the air, making quadruple flip-flap and treble flip-flap with double pirouette and other movements requiring high technique.

Pak Song Hui and Sin Chol Jin in their "Balancing Etude" presented exquisite and beautiful movements and refined technique on the ground and in the air, mesmerizing the members of the jury and spectators.
