The recent joint war maneuvers were, to all intents and purposes, military provocations to the DPRK and intolerable criminal acts of quelling the desire of the 70 million fellow countrymen for independent reunification and peace and prosperity, the statement noted, and continued:

All the Koreans in China vehemently denounce the said exercises as thrice-cursed criminal acts to bring horrible nuclear war disasters to the Korean nation.

The south Korean bellicose forces should clearly know that if they persist in military provocations against fellow countrymen in collusion with the U.S. quite contrary to the trend of the times, they will not escape the nation's stern punishment.

They should immediately stop the anti-DPRK war exercises and arms buildup, clearly mindful that those who challenge the June 15 era of reunification are bound to meet only destruction.

The Koreans in China, together with all other Koreans at home and abroad, will unite close under the banner of "By our nation itself" and turn out as one in the struggle to foil the trigger-happy forces' hostile policy toward the DPRK and their reckless war maneuvers against the DPRK as they bar the north-south relations from improving and pursue confrontation with fellow countrymen and permanent national division.
