Books and Collections of Poems Published in Foreign Countries
Pyongyang, November 17 (KCNA) -- Books and collections of poems were recently brought out in different countries to commemorate the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung.

The Sahayogi Publishing House of Nepal, the Publishing House of the Russian Association for Development of Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries, a company of Thailand and a publishing house of Bulgaria published more than ten varieties of books and collections of poems carrying the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung, the portraits of General Secreatry Kim Jong Il and photos of the three commanders of Mt. Paektu.

C. P. Mainali, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), in his book "Sun Remains Shining Forever" wrote that thanks to Kim Il Sung's birth the Korean people had the greatest fortune of holding him in high esteem as the great sun of the nation for the first time in its history spanning thousands of years. He gave a detailed account of Kim Il Sung's patriotic and revolutionary family.

Semyonov, manager of the above-mentioned Russian publishing house, in his book "Leader of 21st Century" praised Kim Jong Il as an incarnation of benevolence, a father of all people, a guardian of peace in the 21st century, an eternal lodestar of independence and a great political elder glorifying the new century.

Reggie Ranatunge, who was chairman of the Sri Lanka-People's Korea Friendship Association, Zabed Ansari, secretary general of the Karachi Branch of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship Association, and Alejandro Cao de Benos, chairman of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain, in their books "Kim Il Sung's Nation Optimistic about Future", "DPRK; Option for Peace" and "DPRK, Bulwark of Songun" highly lauded the immortal exploits Kim Jong Il has performed by firmly protecting the sovereignty and dignity of the country and the nation and bringing about a new turn in building a thriving nation with the might of Songun.

Meanwhile, Gennadi Sharin, a Russian composer, and Manju Ratna Sakya, chairman of the Nepal Journalist Association, in their books "Leader Kim Jong Il and the Korean Renaissance" and "Music and the Future of Pyongyang" expressed belief that the glorious Korean revolution would win victory after victory with songs as it was started with songs and has advanced with them.

Vasilka Nikiforova, chief of the "Kim Il Sung Library" in Sofia, authored book "Kim Il Sung's Korea and Its 60 Years", Aleksandr Brezhnev, a Russian poet, wrote a collection of poems "Great Succession", several poets produced a collection of poems "Bright Sun of Humankind" and Dipak Sharma, chairman of the Nepalese Young Poets' Forum, a collection of poems "Dedicated to the Three Great Persons of Mt. Paektu." The above-said book and collections which contain at least 100 poems highly praised the undying feats performed by the three commanders of Mt. Paektu.
