Present at the function were personages of the Committee for the Preservation and Management of the street and the city of Phnom Penh, the DPRK ambassador to Cambodia, staff members of his embassy and officials of the Pyongyang Friendship Center.

Speeches were made there.

Deputy Mayor Map Sarin, chairman of the Phnom Penh City Council who doubles as chairman of the above-mentioned committee, said the council would continue paying great attention to further modernizing the street, a symbol of friendship between the two countries, and preserving and managing it well.
