This was an intolerable insult and another unpardonable politically motivated provocation to the DPRK.

The popular masses in the DPRK are fully enjoying an independent life, truly guaranteed all sorts of political freedom and rights as full-fledged masters of power and society. There can be no "human rights" issue under the dignified socialist system in the DPRK.

The fascist maniacs are kicking up such "human rights" racket against the DPRK after reducing south Korea to an area with the world's worst human rights record through the dictatorship enforced under the signboard of "pragmatism." This imprudent and shameless rash act can be perpetrated only by those who do not know where they stand.

The anti-reunification conservative forces in south Korea are now desperately working to achieve their sinister aims, blatantly challenging the magnanimous and sincere efforts of the DPRK to improve the inter-Korean relations.

Hyon In Thaek and other mandarins of the "Ministry of Unification" of south Korea and war maniacs of its military are desperately pursuing the moves for confrontation and war, throwing a wet blanket on the growing desire of the compatriots for reunification and the atmosphere of inter-Korean reconciliation.

The co-sponsorship of the above-said resolution was prompted by a criminal aim to escalate the confrontation between fellow countrymen over the human rights issue and push the inter-Korean relations to an uncontrollable catastrophe.

The puppets went the lengths of bringing their anti-DPRK racket even to the international arena over its non-existent "human rights" issue. This clearly proves that they are steeped in the confrontation in the political system and the stand-off with fellow countrymen and bitterness towards them to the marrow of their bones.

No improved inter-Korean relations can be expected as long as the anti-reunification forces in south Korea are getting frantic with the anti-DPRK racket for confrontation, swimming against the trend of the times.
