The armed provocation perpetrated by the south Korean military was not an accidental case but a deliberate and premeditated action to ignite a war of aggression on the Korean Peninsula at any cost to invade the DPRK, opposed to national reconciliation, unity and reunification.

Recently south Korea has systematically pursued dangerous war moves to militarily threaten fellow countrymen and strain the situation on the Korean Peninsula even since the DPRK took an initiative for improving the inter-Korean relations.

The south Korean military forces held with the U.S. the 41st south Korea-U.S. "annual security consultative meeting" in Seoul in October last at which they discussed adventurous "military countermeasures" over the non-existent "nuclear threat from the north" again.

What should not be overlooked is the fact that some time ago, the south Korean military together with the U.S. completed "OPLAN 5029" allegedly aimed at coping with "contingency in the north".

Frequent clouds bring rain. The recent armed provocation in the West Sea was an inevitable product of the premeditated moves of the U.S. and the south Korean warlike forces for a war of aggression against the DPRK as they have systematically escalated the military confrontation with it.

The DPRK can never overlook the reckless moves of the south Korean military bellicose forces to escalate the military confrontation as it has an important mission and responsibility to fulfill for defending the security of the country and the nation and achieving durable peace on the peninsula.

The DPRK's retaliation against the provokers is limitless and merciless. It will take decisive actions which no latest means can counter.

The south Korean authorities can never evade the responsibility for having driven the inter-Korean relations into the brink of war, going against the trend of the June 15 era of reunification, and they will come to clearly realize how serious their consequences will be.
