The ship was hit by strong storm in the waters off China on Nov. 17 when it was sailing for China after leaving the DPRK.

The Chinese government and officials concerned conducted an urgent rescue operation for the crewmen adrift in a vast expansion of the sea and sincerely offered conveniences to the rescued crewmen in their living, thus showing well the Chinese people's spirit of helping the Korean people and contributing to bringing into bloom the traditional DPRK-China friendship this year, the "year of DPRK-China friendship".

The crewmen, while braving the violent waves, thought about taking good care of the portraits of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il, first of all, deeply touching people.

They arrived at Pyongyang Airport by special plane.
