Indian Figure Meets WPK Delegation

Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- A. B. Bardhan, general secretary of the National Council of the Communist Party of India, Sunday met and had a talk with the delegation of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by Pak Kyong Son, vice department director of its Central Committee, participating in the 11th international meeting of communist and workers' parties.

The general secretary said the relations between the two parties are the precious friendly relations provided by President Kim Il Sung.

The noble will of Kim Il Sung is being translated into brilliant reality by Kim Jong Il, General Secretary of the WPK, he noted, and went on:

We deeply admire the fact that the WPK and the Korean people under the wise leadership of
Kim Jong Il have victoriously advanced the revolution and construction, resolutely frustrating the U.S. imperialists' moves to stifle the DPRK.

Kim Il Sung put forward the proposals for the reunification of Korea during his lifetime and
Kim Jong Il has wisely led the struggle for the independent reunification of the country.

The Communist Party of India will make every possible effort to boost the friendly relations with the WPK.
