The book contains 41 works including historic speeches, conclusions and talks made by President Kim Il Sung from June to December Juche 75 (1986).

The collection comprehensively deals with the prominent ideas, theories and policies set forth by
Kim Il Sung for socialist construction in the DPRK and the accomplishment of the cause of global independence on the basis of a scientific insight into the requirements of the developing revolution in the period of great changes when the government of the DPRK was being consolidated more solidly and the Korean revolution was entering a new stage.

In his work "For the Complete Victory of Socialism" he comprehensively systematized and further developed the theory on the complete victory of socialism and clarified the issue of waging a dynamic struggle for materializing it and achieving the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.

He indicated a guiding principle for putting the national economy on a new high stage and radically improving the standard of people's living in his works including "On Some Issues to Be Held Fast to in Carrying Out the Third Seven-Year Plan for National Economy", "On Stepping Up Rail Transport" and "Let Us Develop the Light Industry to Improve the Standard of People's Living".

He clarified specific strategic and tactical issues arising in advancing the non-aligned movement and promoting the cause of global independence in his works including "For the Development of the Non-Aligned Movement" and "Talk to a Delegation of the International Union of Students".

Also clarified in the collection are issues of sprucing up the area of Mt. Paektu well and consolidating the organizations of all levels of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and intensifying their activities.
