DPRK Speed-skaters Prove Successful

| Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- The DPRK gained five gold medals, six silver medals and four bronze medals at the International Short Track Speed-skating Race for Danubia Cup held in Poland from Nov. 20 to 22. Kim Chol Song and Kim Ryong Chol came first in men's 1000m and 1500m events and Kim Jong Mi in women's 500m event while the DPRK took the first place in the women's 3000m relay race. Kim Chol Song placed first and Kim Ryong Chol and Kim Jong Mi second in men's and women's all-round individual. DPRK players took the second place in men's 5000m relay race, men's 500m and 1500m events and women's 1000m event. They also came third in men's 1000m, 1500m and 500m events and women's 1500m event. |
