Invited to see the performance were Xu Caihou, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission, the deputy chief of the General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (CPLA) and others.

Appreciating the performance were soldiers of the CPLA and the special police unit.

Among the audience were the DPRK ambassador to China and staff members of his embassy.

The artistes raised the curtain with mixed chorus "Song of the Korean People's Army" and "Song of the Chinese People's Liberation Army". They put on the stage mixed chorus "Always Looking Up to the Leader", male vocal solo "The People Offer Glory to the Party", male quartet "My Country of Songun", male chorus "A Soldier Hears Rice Ears Sway" and other colorful numbers.

The performers gave successful representation of Chinese songs to the delight of the audience.
