Kim Yong Nam Meets Chinese NPC Delegation

| Pyongyang, December 3 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, met and had a friendly talk with the delegation of the Chinese National People's Congress led by Chen Zhili, vice-chairwoman of its Standing Committee, when she paid a courtesy call on him at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Thursday. Saying that the functions held in this year, the "Year of DPRK-China Friendship", clearly proved that the DPRK-China friendship is unbreakable and solid, Kim Yong Nam underlined the need to boost the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries. Chen Zhili wished the Korean people greater success in their efforts to open the gate to a great prosperous and powerful nation, saying they would make positive efforts to develop the friendly and cooperative relations with the DPRK. On hand were Hong Son Ok, vice-chairwoman of the Supreme People's Assembly, officials concerned and Liu Xiaoming, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK. |
