Invited to see the performance were the commander and deputy commanders of the Shenyang Military Area of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (CPLA), the commander of the Air Force of the area, the deputy political commissar of the area, the vice-governor of the Liaoning Provincial People's Government and other cadres of the area and the Liaoning provincial and Shenyang city people's governments.

Appreciating it were the consul general and officials of the DPRK Consulate General in Shenyang, the military attache of the DPRK embassy in Beijing and officers and men of the services and arms of the Shenyang Military Area of the CPLA and the special police unit.

Put on the stage of the performance, started with the army songs of the two countries, were numbers representing the KPA servicepersons' unbounded loyalty to General Secretary Kim Jong Il and their ardent patriotism, matchless combat capability, revolutionary mettle and noble mental world. Among them were male vocal solo "The People Offer Glory to the Party", male chorus "A Soldier Hears Rice Ears Sway", guitar quartet ensemble "Song of Coastal Artillerymen", dance "My Heavy Machine Gun" and tap dance "The Appearance of Hero".

The performers also sang songs of the Chinese army in an emotional and vigorous manner.
