Speakers said that during nearly two decades since Kim Jong Il's assumption of the KPA supreme commandership on December 24, 1991 his greatness as a brilliant commander of Mt. Paektu has been fully displayed, noting that the KPA has reliably grown to be an invincible and elite strong army under his loving care.

Referring to the fact that he is an iron-willed brilliant commander with matchless grit and pluck who brings enemies to their knees without firing even a single bullet, they stressed that the army and people of the DPRK will always emerge victorious under his leadership.

Saying that December 24 marks the 92nd birth anniversary of Kim Jong Suk, they praised her immortal revolutionary exploits.

After embarking upon the road of the revolutionary struggle in her early years Kim Jong Suk came to win fame as an anti-Japanese heroine in the course of waging the protracted and arduous struggle for the liberation of the country and devoted her all to upholding the cause of President Kim Il Sung for nation-building, they said.

Her desire was just to turn Korea into a country, powerful and prosperous, in which the people live with nothing to desire more in the world, they stated, adding:
