On display at the venues of the events were photos on the Songun revolutionary leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il and Korean books.

Attending those events were personages of the Peruvian Preparatory Committee to Commemorate the Centenary of Birth of President Kim Il Sung, the Peruvian Association for the Study of Revolutionary Activities of Comrade Kim Jong Suk, the New Left Movement of Peru, the Peruvian Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea, the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association and the French Group for the Study of the Juche and Songun Idea and popular masses.

Speakers at the meeting held in Peru said that December 24 is a very significant day to socialist Korea as Kim Jong Suk, the great model of the world progressives, was born in 1917 and
Kim Jong Il assumed the KPA supreme commandership in 1991 and visited the Chollima Steel Complex in 2008 to kindle the torch of new great revolutionary surge.

They highly praised Kim Jong Suk, saying her noblest exploits are that she defended the headquarters of the Korean revolution at the cost of her life and gave birth to and brought up Kim Jong Il as the heir to the Juche revolutionary cause, thus providing sure guarantee for carrying forward the socialist cause generation after generation.

They stressed that Kim Jong Il has wisely led the Korean people in the drive to open the gate to a great prosperous and powerful nation.

Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, in his speech noted that Kim Jong Il has trained the KPA to be an invincible army so as to provide sure guarantee for the socialist cause and security of the country.

Jean Marie Lambret, chief of the French Group for the Study of the Juche and Songun Idea, said in a report that Kim Jong Il put the strength of the country on the highest level with his Songun politics.

Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Il were adopted at the events held in Sweden and France.
