After taking part in the anti-Japanese armed struggle for the liberation of Korea in her early years
Kim Jong Suk regarded it as her most sacred mission to protect President Kim Il Sung, the sun of the nation.

Many anti-Japanese battle zones bear witness to the historic exploits she performed by protecting the President at the risk of her life.

She was a prominent political figure.

Thanks to her energetic activities the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland, the organization of the anti-Japanese national united front founded by the President, expanded its organizational network into different parts of the country and people from all walks of life including not only workers, peasants, youth and students but also religionists and national capitalists turned out as one in the sacred struggle for national liberation.

Even after the liberation of Korea she reliably helped the President in his work.

She performed an outstanding feat by making sure that the cause of the President was successfully carried forward generation after generation.

Six decades have passed since her demise but she is always remembered by the Korean people and the world progressives.
