Pak lifted 137 kg in jerk and 110 kg in snatch with a total of 247 kg by fully displaying such skills as moment's snatch, quick jerk and successive nimble movement.

Pak, gold medalist at the 29th Olympic Games and one of 10 top-notch women weightlifters of the world in Juche 97 (2008), lifted 6 kg more than the record of the last Olympic Games or 26 kg more than that lifted by a weightlifter who placed second at the Fifth East Asian Games, thus setting new records in jerk, snatch and total points.
